Don't Panic!

Imagine that you are working in a company and, once in a while, you want to relax with a game or a music player. These applications may be forbidden in the company and it's important to hide them from your boss or supervisor. In this situation, you could just minimize or close the applications, but in case there are many of them open, this process may take a lot of time. A much better solution to this problem would be to use Don't Panic!, a Windows program which can automatically close or hide a large number of applications at a push of a button.

After the program is installed and launched, the user will see a graphical interface which contains a large button in the middle. When pressing this button, certain applications will be automatically closed, minimized or hidden. The first thing to do in order for Don't Panic! to work is to define the list of applications which will be automatically closed or minimized by the program.

The program can be configured to either close specific programs or just to close the ones which contain a certain word or phrase in their name. Defining these programs can be done in an intuitive way and any kind of computer user should manage it, no matter his experience. After defining the list of desired programs, the user will be able to close or minimize all of them with a single mouse click, by pushing the large button presented in the interface.

Besides closing or minimizing programs, Don't Panic! can also completely hide an application from the desktop and the user will be able to restore it using a secret key combination. This method is useful for completely hiding an application, for not proving its existence.
